What audio enhancement won't fix
We'd rather be upfront than overpromise.
- —It won't fix a bad microphone. Enhancement improves what's there — it can't invent clarity that was never recorded. If your mic is muffled, the output will be a cleaner muffled sound.
- —It won't add room tone or ambience. Cicadas removes noise, it doesn't add sonic character. If you want a specific audio aesthetic, that's a post-production choice.
